From Birmingham and the North take the M50 from M5 Junction 8 to Ross-on-Wye. Then follow A40 to Monmouth, turning off dual carriageway 8 miles after Monmouth to follow A40 at Raglan for Abergavenny (easy to miss this turning, it is just after the service station).
From London and the East take the M4 to Wales. After the Severn Bridge (Toll) go to Junction 24 Newport and leave M4, taking the A449 north towards Monmouth. At second junction, 13 miles from M4, turn off A449 onto A40 at Raglan for Abergavenny.
After Raglan there are 9 miles of dual carriageway to a large double roundabout just outside Abergavenny. Take the second exit, (A465 Heads of the Valleys road) towards Merthyr Tydfil.
At first roundabout (3 miles) take the second exit to Crickhowell and Gilwern (A4077). Turn right in Gilwern to stay on A4077 to Crickhowell.
This brings you to a set of traffic lights at Crickhowell Bridge. Turn right up into the town and at the T junction (opposite petrol station) turn right for the town centre.
There is a large public car park through the town on the left just after the Fire Station.
