The festive season is upon us again. At the same time that mr Grenfell and his team will be finalising Crickhowell’s Christmas decorations with their usual flair, CRiC will be hosting yet another wonderful Christmas exhibition in the oriel cric gallery. The Crickhowell Resource & Information Centre will also be the venue for different advice sessions, which are being offered free of charge. The first in a series of 4 home and business energy advice surgeries will take place on 14 November. A free seminar to raise awareness among local trades-people of the dangers, solutions and legislation associated with asbestos will be offered on 19 November. Please read the articles below for details of all these events, as well as a local community litter pick during the coming weekend. Visit the news pages of our newly revamped website for further local news.

Winter has descended on us rather unexpectedly, but there is still much to celebrate in the local area as we approach the festive season. The Crickhowell Community Times brings you snippets of local news which may not reach the headlines elsewhere. CRiC would also like to remind all customers that our opening times during the winter months are Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm and between 10.00 and 1.30 on a Saturday.
Issue 7 | 26/Sep/2008

The newsletter contains a sample of local news and events, as well as a preview of CRiC’s campaign to offer free advice to residents in the area on how to save money on heating and electricity bills.
