Ty Croeso Hotel
The hotel is set high on the hillside just above the Monmouth & Brecon canal only half a mile from the charming town of Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Ty Croeso is constructed from Welsh stone and dates from the early 19th century when it was part of a Victorian workhouse.
Our restaurant is open to non residents Tuesday to Saturday from 7 p.m. During July and August we are open for light lunches and afternoon tea. Reservations are recommended for dinner. Our seasonal menus and vegetarian menu use fresh local produce wherever possible and some organic supplies. We are exploring the supply of more organic supplies. All our coffee is Fair Trade and we use Fair Trade juice and biscuits in our packed lunches.
Pavel is a fully qualified European Mountain Leader and has led a number of walking holidays abroad and in the UK. From the hotel as a base he is providing individually tailored walking holidays and outdoor courses in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Our 'a la carte' guided walking program is built to suit your needs and depends on the number of people in the party and the level of walking required.
All walking breaks include dinner, bed & breakfast, transport to and from walks, a packed lunch, afternoon tea and cakes on your return to the hotel.
We can also arrange transport to and from the railway station (Abergavenny is the nearest), if you wish.
