Churches in Crickhowell

Services regularly take place in a number of churches in Crickhowell which are well worth a visit. The 12th Century St Edmund's has two stained glass windows by Charles Kempe and several memorials to local families. Further afield the Brecon Cathedral is on the A470.   • St Edmund's is the Church in Wales Parish Church of Crickhowell situated close to the centre of the town, sign-posted off the High Street. There is normally access from 9.00 a.m. until dusk. Tel: 01873 810017 www.stedscrick.org.uk
  • There is also a Catholic Church on Brecon Road, which was built in the 1930s and is known as St. Joseph's. Tel: 01874 622046
  • The Bethabara Baptist Chapel is at the lower end of Bridge Street. Tel: 01873 810324
  • Danycastell Presbyterian Church can be found in Castle Street. Tel: 01873 811398
  • The Evangelical church holds its services in Silver Lane behind the Market Hall. Tel: 01873 832134
